Goals To provide the necessary teachings in order to understand the text read or listened, to gain the ability of examining literary and scientific texts, to contribute to the development of vocabulary with various classical and contemporary texts, to gain the habit of reading the book, to gain the ability to make presentations in front of the community, to indicate the place of Turkish among the world languages, to introduce the first works of our language, to grasp the sound and shape structure of Turkish, to use the punctuation marks in place, to introduce oral and written literary genres
