Goals The aims of this course are; to introduce sensors, choose the right sensor according to their requirements and usage purposes, working principles of sensors, define system requirements, define the connection points and connection types, give sample applications for different usage areas and increasing the knowledge level and awareness of students.

Learning Outcomes - 1. Learns the structure and operating processes of sensors
- 2. Learns different sensor usage areas (for force, displacement, pressure, temperature, flow measurements), sample applications and connection types
- 3. Learns the criteria to look for in sensors and how to evaluate the criteria
- 4. Increases the level of knowledge and awareness about sensors and detectors.
