Goals To recognize the works of Roman Republic Period. Augustus and Iulio understand the portraits of the periodic Claudius. Flavians and Antonins understand the period portrait features.
Course Content The Republican Period, Early, Middle and Late Roman Imperial Periods. The teaching of the political history of the period in the light of political characters.
Learning Outcomes - To know characteristics and influences of Roman sculpture
- To know local sculptural workshops and general features of Etruscan sculpture
- To understand general features of Roman Republic period
- To understand stylistic development of sculpture during Imperial Period
- To know influence of Roman political life on Roman sculpture
