Goals Prehistoric archeology is a general introduction. It is aimed to make prehistoric emergence as a science, research methods, basic concepts, terminological system and general transmission of prehistoric chronology and finds communities.
Course Content Introducing the prehistoric archeology to students with general outlines constitutes the course content. This is the basic structure of Prehistoric Anabilim Dalı lessons, which are taught for three years because of its introductory nature. The first finds of cultural objects emerged about 2.5 million years ago. The process up to the third part is presented in the context of geological, biological and cultural changes.

- The main concepts and knowledges related with the form of the prehistoric societies
- The main knowledges about, auxiliary sciences like ethnoarchaeology, archaeobotanic, archaeozoology, environmental archaeology.
