Goals To ensure that archeology students will be better equipped to deal with Classical Archeology issues in the coming years. To recognize the civilizations that lived in the Anatolian geography before.
Course Content To determine the expansion areas of civilizations established in Anatolia. Exploring the borders of Anatolia's ancient regions together with historical geography.
Learning Outcomes - To know names and boundaries of the ancient cities and regions; both ancient and modern names of rivers, lakes, mountaions and main cities.
- To know the main historical events which effect the ancient regions in Anatolia
- To classify and construe the historical events which effect the ancient regions in Anatolia
- To know the ancient and modern literature about course of Historical geography in Anatolia
