Goals This course aims to enable students to develop basic knowledge and attitudes about scientific research in their field, and to put theoretical knowledge into practice by ensuring that students research and apply qualitative data collection techniques.
Course Content This course covers the differences between qualitative research techniques, qualitative research techniques such as semiotics, qualitative content analysis, discourse analysis, ethnographic studies, in-depth interviews, focus groups, oral history studies, and the comparison of the possibilities of quantitative and qualitative research techniques.
