Goals This course is a basic introduction to understanding later film reading studies. It is designed to gain the means of evaluating a movie with its technological, aesthetic, cultural and economic ties in creating meaning at the end of the period.
Course Content It is a course designed to relate the technical dimensions of a movie to creating meaning, or the use of technique to create meaning, and the features of narrative structure. Working on the main concepts of classical film narration is the content of this course. Identification, catharsis, transitive narrative, cause-effect relationship, closed end and fictional concepts are emphasized and examples of each of these concepts are studied with examples.

1 Understands what a film is and its textual organization within the context of new formalism.
2 Analyze the dominant narrative structure of cinema art, compare the similarities and differences of national and international examples.
3 Examines the production phases of cinema, narrative, mise en scene, cinematography, fiction and sound at the theoretical level and applies them to examples.
4 It gains a critical view that combines the value, cultural, genetic, historical and social importance of a movie in the art of cinema.
