Goals | The aim of this course is to provide students with basic information about the historical development process of communication and related mass media, and to gain a general perspective about the studies of the history of communication. |
Course Content | The course covers the general development process of humanity and the development of communication. In this context, what human communication is, how it started, and what forms it developed are discussed in detail. In addition, the stages of development of the basic tools of both communication and mass communication from primitive periods to the present are discussed together with the associations of the social background. |
