Goals To examine the cultural history of Turkish cinema between 1960-2010 (Yeşilçam’s golden age, its crisis, collapse and the period of independents after Yeşilçam).
Course Content To examine the cultural history of Turkish cinema between 1960-2010 (Yeşilçam’s golden age, its crisis, collapse and the period of independents after Yeşilçam).
Learning Outcomes - The student learns the general history of a specific period of Turkish cinema (1960-2010). The student understands the dominant film types (genres, series, adaptations, remakes, movements, etc.) of the relevant period.
- The student learns the various factors affecting Turkish cinema (institutional, political, economic, cultural, etc.). The student learns Turkish cinema, which is the most important representative of national and cultural heritage.
