Goals The aim of the course is to introduce the boundaries of political science in relation to other social science disciplines and to enable students to internalize the basic concepts of discipline.
Course Content Definition of political science, different ideologies, approaches in political science, the emergence of political science and how it became a branch of science constitute the content of the course.
Learning Outcomes - The student gains a conceptual perspective on political science.
- Student will be able to analyze political events through the concepts learned in political science.
- Students will have information about political actors.
- Students will be able to explain the structure of political systems.
- Students will have the opportunity to learn the political party systems comparatively.
- Students will have information about the functions of political parties
- The student can analyze the connection between political culture and political participation in theory.
- The student examines the relationship between political parties and pressure groups.
