Goals Objectives of the Course are to teach the basic concepts of macroeconomics, firstly to teach the theory. Then, by linking these theoretical knowledge with daily life, to educate students who will be able to interpret the economic events in the country and the world accurately and to follow and understand the economics literature consciously.
Course Content Definition, content and development of macroeconomics, economics education and method problems, macroeconomic analysis and macroeconomic models, functioning of market economy, market and non-market failures and macroeconomic equilibrium analysis, production capacity and national income, price movements and inflation measurement, employment capacity and unemployment. factors such as measurement, economic growth and economic fluctuations, net social welfare, micro foundations of macroeconomics, factors determining consumption-saving and investment tendency, public sector and economic balance, open economy and economic equilibrium, foreign exchange market and exchange rates, money market, interest rates and financial markets
Learning Outcomes - Learning the basic concepts of macroeconomics

- To be able to analyze the effects of state economic policies on national income 
- To be able to analyze the positive and negative effects of foreign trade on the national economy

2. Week Calculation and measurement of national income, the flow of income, the role of the state, the outer world. Imbalances and problems
3. Week Nominal and real national income, income per capita and international comparisons
4. Week Use of supply and demand curves in macro analysis. Development and assumptions of classical analysis. Classical production function, labor supply and demand
5. Week otal supply in classical analysis. Classic investment savings balance. Criticism about quantity theory and quantity theory.
6. Week Keynes's theory and its assumptions. Total supply in Keynesian theory. Consumption and saving function
7. Week Determination of investment function, equilibrium national income level with effective demand and investment saving equation
