Goals Throughout history, coasts have been the most preferred places for human settlements. In the last century, the attractiveness of the coasts has increased many times due to new requirements. almost every sector wants the right to use the coasts. In this course, it is aimed to give various information about the planning of coasts which have become a scarce resource.
Course Content 1.To be able to learn the characteristics of the sea, lakes and rivers. 2.To be able to learn the moorphological characteristics of coasts. 3.To be able to comprehend the principles and methods of coastal planning. 4.To be able to examine coastal planning studies in various countries. 5.To be able to criticize coastal planning practices in Turkey. 6. To be able to follow new developments in coastal planning and management. 7. To be able to put forward research topics for coastal problems and their elimination. 8. To be able to use initiative in his/her studies and to follow scientific and ethical values as a principle.
