Goals | In this course, the question of how the media is “organized” in terms of both industry and product / content will be addressed with a political economy approach. Throughout the course, the development of media policies in contemporary capitalist societies will be presented with examples from around the world. |
Course Content | The relationship between media and politics, policy and economic factors affecting media production and production processes, global actors of media policies, transformation of media, new media policies are covered. |
