Goals The aim of this course is to understand how meaning is produced, discussed, negotiated in media texts and ideology, class, nation, gender, etc. To gain critical skills to analyze and understand how they relate to broader power structures such as.
Course Content Various media texts and genres will be studied using basic theories and notions of thought currents such as Marxism, feminism, semiology, structuralism, post-structuralism, psychoanalysis and post-modernism.
