Goals The basic concepts of communication sciences, mainstream communication theories and critical theories are aimed to be transferred to the student.
Course Content The content of this course is based on the transfer of the basic concepts and theories of communication science in terms of communication science and communication practices. Within the scope of the course, the mainstream theories in communication science, from critical theories to communication styles, types of communication and their reflections to daily life will be emphasized.
Learning Outcomes - Defines the basic concepts of communication science.
- Have knowledge about mainstream communication theories.
- Defines critical theories in communication science.
- Compare classical and contemporary communication theories and concepts and evaluate them from a critical perspective.
