Goals The aim of this course is to understand the processes of program planning and evaluation in healthcare institutions, and to equip students with knowledge and skills in needs assessment, objective setting, strategic planning, program implementation, and evaluation methods.
Course Content This course covers topics such as basic concepts of program planning in healthcare services, needs assessment and situation analysis methods, objective setting and prioritization, strategic planning, program design and planning tools, program implementation and management, types and methods of program evaluation, data collection techniques and analysis methods, program evaluation criteria and success metrics, quality management and improvement processes, reporting program outcomes, and stakeholder communication.
