Goals The aim of this course is to gain the ability to make financial planning and analysis by having sufficient knowledge about the basic principles and fundamentals of the student's finance
Course Content Financial analysis, time value of money, financial planning, financial analysis, financial products, financial institutions, working capital
Learning Outcomes - List the basic functions of the finance function
- Understanding the importance of the finance function in businesses and being able to distinguish the function from other business functions.
- To be able to classify short, medium and long term financing sources
- Calculating the time value of money and interest
- Must be able to calculate the cost of capital in businesses.
- Should be able to summarize the importance and consequences of profit distribution decisions in businesses.
- Must be able to analyze the balance sheet and income statement.
