Goals | "Contemporary Approaches in Sport Management Psychology" course aims to analyse the psychological processes affecting the behaviour of individuals and teams in sport management and modern management approaches in sport organisations. This course aims to enable students to comprehend modern psychological approaches in sport management by addressing the effects of psychological and managerial factors such as leadership, motivation, stress management, team dynamics, ethics and values in the sport environment. In addition, it is aimed that students will gain the ability to create strategies to improve the performance of all stakeholders from athletes to managers. |

Learning Outcomes |
- Students will learn the importance and basic concepts of psychology in sport management and comprehend the effect of individual and group behaviours in management. - Students will gain an understanding of team dynamics and group psychology and will gain the ability to ensure team cohesion and strengthen intra-team relationships in sport organisations. - Students will be able to develop effective communication strategies by understanding the importance of communication in sports management and establish healthy communication with all stakeholders. - Students will be able to develop innovative management approaches by using modern management approaches in sport organisations and apply contemporary management approaches in sport environment. - Students will be able to understand the concepts of organisational justice and psychological empowerment in athletes and will be able to create strategies to develop trust and increase motivation |
