Goals The aim of this course is to provide students with the basic concepts of statistics, data organisation, descriptive statistics, distributions, hypothesis testing and application skills in statistical package programmes that will be widely used in sports sciences.
Course Content Basic statistical information to be used in sports sciences in accordance with research techniques, statistical calculations and application with computers are among the subjects of this field.
Learning Outcomes - Defines the basic concepts of statistical science
- Apply statistical approach in the process of producing information in sports sciences
- Reveals the relationships between variables
- Determine the statistical methods used in different types of research in sport sciences
- Makes basic statistical analyses as applied in sports sciences.
