Goals Generally, it aims to blend theoretical and applied areas and aims to enable students to gain the ability to make in-depth analyses. At the end of this course, students are expected to be able to produce innovative solutions in sports marketing strategies by understanding the dynamics of sports economics. Such courses aim to conduct research on various aspects of the sport industry and contribute to the academic literature of the field.
Course Content Sport economics analyses the economic aspects of the sport industry, the financial structures of sport organisations, the behaviour of sport consumers and economic decisions in this field, while sport marketing deals with the marketing strategies and practices of sport organisations, teams, athletes and events.
Learning Outcomes - To understand the basic principles and applications of sports economics
- To gain the ability to develop and implement sports marketing strategies
- To be able to evaluate emerging trends and technological innovations in the global sports industry
