Goals | "Analysis and Evaluation of Sport Competitions" course aims to teach how to analyse performance in sport competitions, techniques and strategies used to evaluate performance during and after competition in a comprehensive way. The main objective of this course is to provide students with the ability to analyse performance during and after competition in different sports. Students will have knowledge about competition analysis methods, data collection and analysis techniques and performance evaluation criteria. In addition, it is aimed to provide students with analytical thinking, data management and tactical analysis skills. |
Course Content | Topics such as performance analysis, technical and tactical analysis methods, physical performance analysis, field applications and analysis studies, comprehensive performance report preparation constitute the general content of this course. |
Learning Outcomes |
- Students will be able to define the concept of performance analysis in sport competitions, explain the purpose and importance of the analysis process. - Students will be able to apply various analytical methods to evaluate the physical fitness and capacity levels of athletes and examine performance measures such as endurance, speed and strength. - Students will be able to analyse the psychological state of athletes and its effects on performance; evaluate factors such as motivation, focus and stress management. - Students will be able to make analyses in accordance with ethical values by respecting ethical rules and the privacy of athletes during the analysis process. |
