Goals | "Physical Fitness and Exercise Prescription Plans" course aims to provide master and doctoral students with in-depth knowledge and practical skills in assessing the physical fitness levels of individuals and preparing exercise prescriptions according to these values. The course aims to improve students' ability to plan exercise programmes for different age groups and health conditions and to analyse the effects of these programmes. It also provides a scientific understanding of the physiological basis of exercise and its effects on health. |
Course Content | This course focuses on the components of physical fitness and their measurement methods by addressing the concept of physical fitness in detail. In the first weeks, basic information about the definition of physical fitness, its relationship with health and evaluation methods are given. Then, the effects of exercise on energy systems, cardiovascular and musculoskeletal systems are covered. |
