Goals To introduce students to the discipline of “Cinema/Film Studies”, to inform them about the historical evolution of this young branch of humanities and to introduce them to the basic texts (articles and books) of this discipline. To transform students into researchers who can conduct new, scientific and qualified studies in the discipline of cinema studies.
Course Content The theoretical, methodological, epistemological and critical frameworks required by the discipline of Cinema/Film Studies determine the boundaries of the course.
