Goals Definition of recreation and types of recreational actions, leisure-recreation relationship, general characteristics of outdoor recreation, nature-based outdoor recreation, classification of recreation resources, outdoor recreation resources in our country, place and importance of outdoor recreation in forestry, definition and characteristics of outdoor recreation demand, recreational carrying capacity and its importance in recreation planning.
Course Content This course comprehensively covers the concept of recreation, the leisure-recreation relationship, types of outdoor recreation, its resources and the role it plays in forestry.
Learning Outcomes - Students learn the definition of the concept of recreation, the benefits of recreation and the types of recreational actions.
- The concept of leisure time, comprehends the relationship between leisure and recreation
- Have knowledge about the concept of outdoor recreation and general characteristics of outdoor recreation.
- Understand the basic stages of outdoor recreational use and their importance in terms of resource management.
- Examine the factors affecting outdoor recreation.
- Learn the criteria for nature-based recreation and the classification of recreational activities in the natural environment.
- Understands the place and importance of outdoor recreation in forestry.
- Learn the classification of recreation resources and outdoor recreation resources
- Learn the classification of outdoor recreation resources in our country and understand the characteristics of the relevant areas, and evaluate the practices in our country in terms of resource management.
