Goals To introduce the concept of visual assessment. To teach the effects of visual assessment criteria on landscape policy, planning and design.
Course Content Historical development and conceptualization of visual impact assessment Understanding of visual analysis and evaluations in natural and cultural (urban and rural) landscapes Analysis and evaluation of visual impact assessment studies sampled from the world and our country Understanding the functionality of visual impact assessment in landscape policy, planning, design and management studies as a sector.
