Goals The aim of this course is to enable students to develop quick and effective intervention methods in crisis situations. It aims to provide the knowledge and skills needed for ethical interventions and to support individuals' psychosocial adjustment after crises.
Course Content This course aims to understand the psychological, social, and behavioral effects of crises and teach effective intervention methods. It focuses on types of crises (natural disasters, traumas, individual crises) and intervention strategies. Topics include post-traumatic stress disorder (PTSD), suicide attempts, and community-based crisis intervention programs.
Learning Outcomes - Analyze types and impacts of crises.
