Goals | The aim of this course is to introduce doctoral students to current concepts, theories, practices and research in supervision in counseling. In this context, students are expected to define the process of supervision in counseling from conceptual, ethical and methodological perspectives and to develop their own supervision models in theoretical terms. This course also aims to enable doctoral students to apply their own supervision models under the supervision of supervision. This course will be taught through seminar presentations, lectures, discussions, group work, case studies and assignments. |

- Recognize the roles and responsibilities of the supervisor in clinical and managerial supervision in counseling. - To introduce the primary supervision models and theories and researches in the literature. - Gain insight into supervision experiences as a counseling student and supervisor. - o know, understand and comprehend the ethical, legal and professional responsibilities of the supervisor. - Know, understand and comprehend individual differences in the supervision process. - Develops his/her own supervision model theoretically based on the relevant literature. - Applies the developed model under the supervision of supervision by providing supervision to counseling students in counseling processes. |
