Goals The aim of this course is to understand the role of cultural and sociological structures in the process of teaching Turkish, analyze the sociocultural dimensions of language teaching, and equip students with the knowledge and skills necessary to effectively utilize these structures in language instruction. In this context, the effects of cultural diversity, social identity, values, and social dynamics on language teaching will be examined.
Course Content This course aims to discuss the relationship between language and culture, to reveal the effects of oral and written media by taking into account the stratification of society, and to discuss the effects of cultural elements on the processes of language processing.
Learning Outcomes - The student analyzes the impact of cultural and sociological structures in teaching Turkish.
- The student evaluates the importance of cultural diversity and values education in language teaching.
- The student gains the ability to effectively use cultural and social content in the Turkish teaching process.
