Goals To create awareness about the definition and classification difficulties arising from the nature of language. To discuss the reflections to Turkish language teaching of the confusion arising from the classifications and definitions maked without taking into account the nature of generally language, specially Turkish adequately and produce solutions to this issue.
Course Content the nature of human language, the place of Turkish language among the world languages in terms of basic phonetic and morpho-syntactic structure, definition in social sciences and criteria for identifying linguistic concepts, language interactions and main languages that are related to Turkish, grammer works from history to today date in Turkish, foreign influences on Turkish grammar, problems about terms and classification and solutions related to these problems in the Turkish, structural changes due to cultural degeneration in Turkish, efforts to create awareness of Turkish and matters to be required in this way.
Learning Outcomes - He/she understandsthe nature of language in general, and the nature of the Turkish in special.

- he/she learns the conceptual framework of terms and ways to do terms.
- he/she knows terminology and classification problems in Turkish phonetics, morphology and syntactic structure and makes recommendations for a properly grammar teaching.
- he/she notices the changes depending on cultural degeneration in Turkish, creates ideas about awareness in Turkish.
