Goals The aim of this course is to examine the values in the primary education Turkish curriculum, analyze the content and structures of textbooks, discuss approaches to values education, and develop students' abilities to play an active role in the teaching of these values.
Course Content Explicit and implicit values in the Primary Education Turkish Lesson Curriculum and Turkish textbooks, and activity development related to value transfer with texts.
Learning Outcomes - The student recognizes and analyzes the values in the primary education Turkish curriculum.
- The student evaluates the treatment of values in Turkish textbooks.
- The student develops effective teaching strategies for values education.
