Goals The aim of this course is to evaluate the definition, characteristics and elements of poetry in the context of children's literature.
Course Content Within the scope of this course, the definition, features and elements of poetry will be evaluated in the context of children's literature. The relationship of poetry with children's creative thinking and emotional development will be evaluated. The poetry understanding and poems of the poets who have an important place in Turkish children's poetry will be analyzed.
Learning Outcomes - The student recognizes the historical development and basic characteristics of poetry in children's literature.
- The student develops skills for writing poetry for children.
- The student analyzes the educational functions of poetry in children's literature.
