Goals The aim of the course is to enable the student to acquire advanced knowledge and research experience in a field of his/her choice and to begin to contribute to the academic literature on the subject. The student is expected to learn the state-of-the-art in a theoretical or experimental field, and in any topic of interest, and then to make an up-to-date, original and useful contribution to the relevant literature.
