Goals	To enable international students to read and understand the history of the Republic and the political, social and economic dynamics of the country they live in through historical causalities, continuities and ruptures.
Course Content	A brief Ottoman political, social and economic history in outline.
Learning Outcomes	- Getting to know the historical roots and causalities of the political, economic and sociological facts, which will be treated in the second term of this course.
