Goals This course aims to understand the dimensions of international commodity and service trade and the basic theories, concepts and institutions and to explain the technical and legal operations of the international money and commodities such as customs, logistics and banking, and to establish an infrastructure for future courses on these bases.
Course Content This course is the study of foreign markets and the choice of international trade terminology, import-export risks, pricing and reimbursement procedures, export-import organization, foreign trade regulations in the import and export enterprises, which take foreign trade and trade finance issues.
Learning Outcomes - Understand the global, conceptual and legal framework of international trade.
- Understands the general framework of Turkey's import-export, customs exchange, standardization and incentive legislation
- The functions of international and national organizations involved in international trade are assimilated.
- Obtain information on understanding and practicing the sharing of the risks and costs incurred in the process of obtaining goods from the seller to the buyer by importing the information of using international delivery forms.
- Obtains the ability to learn the functions of official and commercial documents prepared electronically or manually, used in international commercial transactions and prepare / analyze these documents.
- Understand the payment methods used in international trade with its risks and advantages.
