Goals Aims of this course are to provide a through introduction to the basic principles of chemistry to engineering students in order to prepare them for further study in chemistry and support their understanding and design of practical applications in their fields.
Course Content Matter and properties, Atomic structure and properties, Periodic Table and Properties, Chemical bonding, Chemical Reactions and Calculations, Gases, Liquids, Aqueous solutions and miztures, Solids, Chemical kinetics, Chemical equilibrium, Acids and bases,Thermodynamics, Electrochemistry.
