Goals Application of basic concepts about waves and optics experimentally.
Course Content Introduction of the laboratory and demonstration of usage of measurement tools, Pulse effect, Damped harmonic oscillation, Designation of sound velocity using resonance , Melde experiment, Designation of polarized light concentration, Reflection and refraction in water waves, Diffraction of water waves, Interference of water waves, Interference of light, Diffraction of light
Learning Outcomes - Recognizing waves and optics laboratory equipment and use it.
- Distinguishing the basic concepts about waves and optics and run its applications.
- Comprehending pulse effect experimentally.
- Demonstrating experimental representation of damped oscillation.
- Calculating the velocity of sound using resonance.
- Designating concentration through polarized light.
- Comprehending reflection and refraction, and diffraction and interference of water waves.
