Goals It shows how to calculate the appropriate sample size to ensure that the scientific research results are more reliable and more economical.
Course Content Within the scope of the course, what is the nature of the scientific research, what are the characteristics of the scientific researches, what should be the scientific researches, what should be questioned in the planning stage of the scientific research, how the results should be reported, what are the basic titles and contents of the reports, Answers to questions about what they are and ethical issues to be observed in scientific researches will be discussed.
Learning Outcomes - Will be able to know basic concepts of science and scientific research and define research questions and hypotheses.
- Will be able to identify and use scientific methods, its steps and techniques.
- Will be able to understand and apply data collection principles.
- Will be able to know research types, variable types and sampling methods, and decide on appropriate methodology.
- Will have basic knowledge of ethics on science and research.
- Will be able to plan research on a subject in his field in line with learned knowledge and rules, and to prepare and present a scientific report for this research.
