Goals | To be able to read Kutadgu Bilig, which was written in the 11th century, to understand the characteristics of the period and to analyze the words in the work. |
Course Content | 1) Can read Kutadgu Bilig. 2) Can translate the work into contemporary Turkish. 3) Knows the characteristics of the period. 4) Learns the works written in the 11th century and the studies on them. 5) Can analyze the words in the works. 6) Compares the period with Old Turkish. 7) Based on the work, he can find common and different grammatical features in historical dialects. |
