Goals To give basic definitions and theorems about Semi-Riemannian submanifolds.
Course Content Semi-Riemannian submanifolds: hyperquadrics, Codazzi equation, total umbilic hypersurfaces, normal conection, functions of two parameters, Gauss lemma, convex open sentences, Riemannian distance, geodesics on hyperquadrics, geodesics on surfaces.
Learning Outcomes - Students will learn theoretical concepts in mathematics.
