Goals The aim of this course is to provide general information about world religions and to reveal the effects of religions on tourism by giving place to the approaches of religions related to ecology and cultural heritage.
Course Content - Have knowledge about religious traditions that have temples in our country. - Understands the approaches of religions about ecology. - Learns the relationship between world religions and cultural heritage.
Learning Outcomes - To have knowledge and skills regarding ecotourism studies
- To gain the ability to evaluate, synthesize and use new information in the field of ecotourism with a critical approach
- To have professional knowledge enough to communicate with colleagues on ecotourism
- To have the ability to recognize and use research methods and modern laboratory techniques and analysis methods used in studies related to the field of ecotourism
- Being able to develop new strategic approaches and take responsibility in unforeseen complex situations
- Being able to use high-level mental processes such as creative and critical thinking, problem solving and decision making
- Being able to use information technologies
- Knowing legal and political systems
- Having the ability to exchange information
- Having communication (entrepreneurship) skills
- To have multidisciplinary working skills
- To have the ability to conduct research individually
- To have the skills of writing in scientific language, expressing oneself and discussing
- To have the ability to analyze an existing problem in ecotourism and use relevant research methods to solve it
- To have the ability to access national or international literature information on the subject studied from different sources and to evaluate it systematically
