Goals To comprehend the morphology of Turkish, to provide the use of spelling-punctuation marks in place, to comprehend the elements and types of sentences, to gain the ability to write and speak without narration disorder, to make presentations in front of the community and to gain the ability to examine scientific texts and take notes.
Course Content Morphology of Turkish language, elements of sentence and sentence types, expression disorders, spelling-punctuation marks; presentation, poem, essay, composition, story, newspaper, magazine studies and applications.
Learning Outcomes - 1) Knows the shape structure of Turkish, uses the spelling rules-punctuation marks in place.
- Gains the habit of reading books, follows daily newspapers and other periodicals.
- Speaks Turkish in a correct, beautiful and successful manner and has the ability to express himself / herself.
- Have the ability to make presentations in front of the community, express their knowledge and thoughts at a level that others can understand, use effective communication.
- Have the habit of using dictionary and spelling guide.
- Knows internet and computer terms.
- Knows the Turkish equivalents of the foreign words commonly used in the environment.
- Use Turkish language within the framework of thesis writing rules in academic theses (bachelor, master and doctorate).
- Gains the ability of examining literary and scientific texts and taking notes.
