Goals | The concept of building material. Architectural design and material relationship, traditional and contemporary building materials used in architecture. Basic properties and behaviors of building materials. Natural stone, terracotta, glass, wood, metal, plastic, concrete, portland cements and other cement types, aggregates, concrete production, classification, properties, types, purposes and areas of application, application examples and concrete quality, concrete and mortar classification of additives, paints, gypsum, lime, properties, production, types, purposes and areas of application, application, application examples. Material selection. |
