Goals Aim of the course is to teach students importance of properties, quality and hydrogeology of groundwater and soil, to establish a comprehensive knowledge on methods of groundwater pollution control.
Course Content Properties of Soil, Sources and Composition of Subsurface Contaminants, Agricultural chemicals, Principles of Contaminant Transport and Transformation in Soil, Water and gas in soil, Groundwater Hydrology and Principles of Fluid Flow ,Contaminant Transport in Soil and Groundwater Systems, The Prevention Methods of Groundwater fluids, biotransformation and other transformations, Monitoring well design, Sampling techniquies, The Prevention Methods of Groundwater Pollution
