- Students will learn the basics of measurement and the techniques to apply to meet the measurement needs that may be encountered in machine manufacture and use. - Students will be able to choose the appropriate device, system or method for the correct solution in the metering technique problems that may be encountered. - Students will learn to use the relevant measuring device or system - Students will learn the working principle of the relevant measuring instrument or system. - Students will be able to recognize and apply the methods of evaluation of the obtained measurement data. - Students will understand the concepts of metrology, calibration, accuracy, uncertainty, precision, reproducibility and traceability. - Students will be familiar with the metrology standards, where they will be reached and where they will be used. |
