Goals The aim of this course is to teach the solution methods of Linear Equation Systems, matrices and matrix operations, determinants, rank, eigenvalues and eigenvectors, transformations in two-dimensional space, vector spaces and linear transformation methods.
Course Content Properties of matrices, operations in matrices, properties and processes of determinants, solution methods of linear equations systems: Cramer's method, inverse matrix, Gauss elimination method, Gauss-Jordan elimination method. The rank of matrix, properties and operations of vectors, linear transformations, eigenvalues and eigenvectors, Linear Composition, Linear Dependency / Independence.
Learning Outcomes - Knows the concept of matrix, knows special matrices, knows the properties of matrices and performs arithmetic operations with matrices.
- Knows the concept of inverse matrix, determines the inverse of the matrix by applying the elementary operations.
- Know the concept of determinant, know the properties of determinant and benefit from them in solutions,  
- Knows the solution methods in Linear Equation Systems and knows how to solve problems.  
- Knows vector spaces and vector operations.
- Knows the concept of eigenvalues.
- Knows transformations in linear systems.
