Goals The aim of this course is to develop the creativity, cooperation skills, the skills of visual arts of special education teacher candidates and to provide individuals and techniques related to the process of planning and executing interventions for art education. Students express themselves in this course in the process of perception, thinking and physical actions. Studies serve to express their feelings and thoughts about themselves and their environment and to explain the way they perceive the world in which they live.
Course Content Basic concepts of artistic skills; Line development in the child during the normal development process; Characteristics of line development; Line development and features in children in need of special education; Teaching methods that can be used in teaching artistic skills (painting-work); Adaptation of teaching methods that can be used in the teaching of artistic skills (painting-work) to students who need special education; Teaching different artistic skills: Painting with watercolor, cutting with scissors, printing, spraying, origami and wax studies, masks, puppets and bracelets; Developing Measuring Tool to Evaluate and Gain Artistic Skills in Child; Preparing teaching plans; Teaching Application Examples Development and Application.
