Course Content The state of chld health, the protecton, mantenance and development of the chld's health, the devaton from health and the plannng of approprate nursng care, the applcaton of the necessary nursng nterventons accordng to ages, the approprate nursng care of the hosptal chld.
Learning Outcomes - Defines the roles and functions of the pediatric nurse in every step of health care.
- Can interpret the child's health status.
- The child and family may be aware of their reactions to illness and hospitalization.
- Defines practices for improving and protecting child health.
- Defines common health problems in children.
- Analyze the child's health-specific care needs for all age groups.
- Can apply nursing interventions to healthy/sick children in all age groups in line with the nursing process.
- Can create an education plan specific to the educational needs of the child and family.
