Goals Learners will be able to understand the formation of modern philosophy and modern era philosophers such as Descartes, Leibniz, Spinoza, Locke, Hume, Hegel.
Course Content
Learning Outcomes - Being able to understand the importance of Descartes on formation of contemporary philosophy.
- Being able to understand Kant’s revolutionary thoughts on epistemology
- Being able to see the impacts of 19th century philosophical thoughts on sociology
- Being able to understand major philosophers’ thoughts and having comparative and critical perspective on modern day philosophical problems
