Course Content The Disintegration of the Ottoman Empire (XIX Century), Tanzimat and Islahat Edict, I. and II. Constitutional Monarchy, Tripoli and Balkan Wars, World War I, Mondros Armistice Treaty, Wilson Principles, Paris Conference, M. Kemal's arrival in Samsun and the situation in Anatolia, Amasya Circular, National Congresses, Opening of the Parliament, Parliament and Internal Revolts, Organization-ı Esasi Law, Establishment of Regular Army,
Learning Outcomes - Understanding the basic features, aims and relations of revolution and similar concepts
- Learning the basic information about the internal and external causes that led to the collapse of the Ottoman Empire
- Republic of Turkey developments occurring during the transition state institutions and multi-party political life and political development trials are taking place in this process
