Goals With the application project, it is aimed that the student will develop her original design for application purposes, become aware of the connection between architecture and other disciplines, and gain the ability to evaluate and use the society, investor and user relations.
Course Content During the application project, the student will be informed about the professional ethics, political and intellectual dimensions of architecture and financial and legal information in the field of architecture. It will be aimed to gain the ability to cope with problems such as the use of technical specifications in design, cost planning and control, construction and project management. It will be ensured that the most appropriate decisions are made for the project on technical issues such as the control of waste, the use of materials and energy for sustainable architecture, natural disaster risks, carrier system, materials and construction systems.
Learning Outcomes - 1) The student correctly reads and understands the architectural and interior design project for which the application project will be prepared, in terms of the requirements of the application, within the integrity of the space and environment.
- The student learns the techniques of making an design application project.
- The student develops the idea of creating solutions by taking together materials, building physics, ecology, building information, building knowledge and fine structure disciplines.
- The student learns various methods of construction installation, recognizes and associates materials and details the solutions correctly.
- The student prepares the projects by taking into account the possible problems to be encountered during professional practice and the solutions within the possibilities.
- The student can dictate the implementation project and its elements to the addressees both verbally and in the form of written technical specifications.
- The student gains awareness of the responsibilities and ethics imposed by practicing.
